The House of David is known throughout the Midwest for using a finish that is totally unique to the colony. They produced over 600 different statues, figurines and plaques which were shipped all over the world. The unique finish is called \"Hydro-stone\" and was an unusual plaster-type mixture that was finished will a pearl used ivory type finish. Many pieces were animals, religious figures, while others were more gothic like cherubs, chariots and the like. The artist in charge was an Italian man named Frank Rosetta. This piece is in great condition with no visible damage, and includes original sticker from company.
