This is from the Estate of an avid Hummel Collector. This highly desired \"Crown\" marked \"LittleFiddler\" was made during the early occupation of Germany after WWII when the area was still designated as \"U.S. Zone\" 1946 thru 1948. It appears to be in great shape with no chips or marks.I have other fine collectible Hummels in my store at Porcelain\"Identifying marks on the UNDERSIDE of Hummels tell theHummel Model Number (HUM), the size indicator (Arabic and RomanNumerals), theyear of release (usually the year after the production year), andsometimes thepaint and/or painters code numbers (incised Arabic numbers or scriptinitials).During the division of Germany into East and West, various other labelswereused, e.g., Made in U.S.-Zone Germany, Western Germany, and W. Germany. Also, during the third and fourth trademark periods (called Stylized Bee andthree-line Bee, respectively, from 1957 to 1972), TradeMarks 5, 6, and7 allused Goebel and W. Germany. TMK 5 (1972-79) was distinguished by beingthe lasttime the \"V\" and Bee were used in combination with Goebel and W.Germany. Then in 1991 up to the present, TMK 7 brought back the\"Crown\" which had been used for TMK 1 from 1935-1949. Currently, alleditions of Hummels are called Closed Editions (CE) except some TMK6and most ofthe TMK 7 are still Open Editions (OE). TMK 8 was introduced late 1999and nowused for Hummels into the year 2000. Sometimes there are \"DoubleCrowns\" with one incised and the other stamped under the glaze.Infrequently, we find a Full Bee stamped and a Crown incised.\" [Don\'s Collectibles]

Check shipping before you offer because there are many software bugs that incorrectly include the wrong rate and/or offer free shipping. I almost never offer free shipping because you the buyer \"will pay\" for shipping in some hidden fees. I try to be honest in charging what I have to pay, which and Paypal charge fees on the amount I charge for shipping. They say it is to prevent people selling an item for 1 penny and shipping $100, but since few people do that, it is all about their profits.
