DescriptionVINTAGE PORCELAIN HUMMEL ST. FRANCIS FIGURINEGorgeous vintage 1950s molded porcelain monk or priest figure measuring about 7 1/8\" tall. Featuring Saint Francis With Birds, he stands in full cowled robe with rope belt, while four birds rest within his protection. Standing on square base, he is beautifully finished with lovely detail -- bearing a high gloss creamy white finish, condition is very good vintage, with 1 small chip and some crazing. There is a patch, under his robe that has yellowed but may be able to get cleaned. No other damage noted. Bearing the original full bee mark and GERMANY, statue dates to the 1950s. Marked HF and Numbered 6 2/0. Saint Francis was the patron saint of animals and the Environment. Lovely addition to any collection!
