Up for offer is a rarely found antique Japanese cloisonné cane or walking stick handle. It measures approximately 6 inches in length and ismost likely from the early 1900s. It could be older but based on othercloisonné pieces I\'ve seen I estimate this coming from the 1900-1920 timeframe. Please see pictures and judge for yourself. The handle is in nice condition for the age. Thecloisonné itself has little pitting and looks nice. There are a couple places in the goldstone portion that appear to be smudged or something but the resin portion is not chipped or anything so I can\'t tell if it was produced that way or if it happened after production.
