Vintge Jewish Star Pendant USSR PRISONER OF CONSCIENCE
This circa 1980 goldtone Star of David pendant was made in support of Russian Jews who refused to give up their religion in the USSR under Communism. The large star says...LET MY PEOPLE GO and shows the Star of David chained by the hammer and cycle emblem of the USSR. On the back is the name Anatoly Altman - USSR PRISONER OF CONSCIENCE...one of the prisoners. Star measures 2 by 2 1/2 inches and hangs from a chain that\'s 24 inches around. This obscure cause/political protest item is in excellent condition.
