For sale we present this beautiful, genuine Vintage Signed/Numbered Jimmy Emerson Sterling Silver-Turquoise-Coral Navajo Big Bear Men’s Ring. Navajo Artist, Jimmy Emerson, has been creating truly outstanding pieces of jewelry for a very long time and this is from his earlier years. This handcrafted ring is made out of Sterling Silver and features an interesting nugget of genuine Turquoise that is complemented by a smaller, equally interesting nugget of Red Coral. Both are hand set into Sterling bezels above the mighty Bear and are flaked on the sides of the ring with stylistic fans. Please note that in Emerson’s original design the bear is below the stones. In his modern design the bear is above the stones and the side decoration is not as ornate as the vintage design. The ring is signed “JE” and has the number “701” immediately after it artist’s initials on the inside. We are not sure what the number is a reference for, perhaps 701st in the series? This is a used piece and does show signs of wear from being loved by the person who owned it originally…please see our pictures. It comes in a very nice box, but it is not an original box just an extra one we had. This item is truly a work of art from a well-known Navajo artist and a one of a kind, magnificent example of his work that will only appreciate in value.
