Vintage Jolly 1949 Royal Doulton Falstaff Figurine HN2054:

Hey this guy was born the same year as I was, 1949! Well he was copyrighted the same year, anyway. He’s got such a jolly expression on his face too. From what I understand he is based on a Shakespeare character from The Merry Maids of Windsor, Sir John. He measures 7¼” tall by 4½” wide and 3¼” deep and is in excellent condition. I find no crazing, chips, cracks, fleabites, breaks or repairs anywhere. This fellow would make a wonderful addition to your Royal Doulton Figurine Collection. Or maybe a starter piece for one. Whichever, he’ll make you smile every time you walk by him.
