This is a wonderful set of vintage Western Items.1. Kid\'s size Medium, \'Real Texas\' on label, styled by Betty Leach. It is a vest, pants and red cowboy hat. The vest retains the label. It is in good condition. The pants have good elastic, with the original fur waist band. The inseam is about 16\". There is a repair on the knees on the right leg, and a slight tear on the left leg-knee. The fringe is in very good condition. With the exception of the knee wear, it is in good overall condition for its age. It needs a good cleaning, but I prefer to have the buyer do that process. The redcowboy hat is in good conditionwith no holes, exceptfor the two allowed for a chintie. It has the original head ban. It also could use a good cleaning and shaping.
2. Two metal star badges. One states, \'Deputy Sheriff Laramie\', the other \'Deputy US Marshal\'. Both have \'J.Adams\' on the back with a locking clasps. They measure about 2\" and are in excellent condition.
3. Very rare \'Tom Mix\' photo with horse. This is in the original metal frame. The reverse side is a 1938 calendar, \'Dun & Bradstreet, Inc.\'. The autograph states, \'To my Straight Shooter Pal Dale with best wishes Tom Mix.\' It is hard to tell how much of the signature is pre-printed. However, it is personalized to Dale.
The entire outfit can be worn by boy or girl. It is really a piece of history, and in remarkable shape for its age. The photo is of one of the great icons of our western culture.
