Vintage ladies black evening coat. One button at throat, back decorative yoke, welt pockets, decorative detail on sleeves, and fully lined. Coat is a modest swing in style, just below the knee in length and the sleeves are full length. Fabric is an unknown - it feels and looks like a heavy crepe. There appears to be no tears, rips, or discolorations that I can find. This was my mother\'s, so I can attest to its age. The only identifying tag is \"Holley\'s, Ithaca\'s Fashion Center\", and my folks lived in Ithaca, NY, from 1949 to 1957. Because the way the coat is made in a modest swing with only a button at the throat, sizing is not terribly critical: my model here is about a size 6 and my mother was about a 10.
