This item is a completely redone Lee Valley 565-F bumper pool table. I bought this table with the intention of using the slate top for a coffee table, but when I found out what it was I decided to do a restoration. This table dates from the early 1960\'s and is the earlier version of the Valley Tiger cat table. I have seen the newer version listed for $1500. I used American Cherry and Black Walnut 1/8\' thick veneer\'s for the sides, and Walnut for the top rails. The side rails and corners are wrapped in 1/8\" thick brushed aluminum. The Slate top has just been professionally re-felted by Southern Billiards of Atlanta. The Felt is top quality steel gray. I used a metallic enamel finish on the bumper post. (the middle 8 bumpers are solid aluminum and original to the table but the guard posts on each end are not, I tried but was unable to find original replacements) The end bumpers are steel and all of the bumper rings are new. Only a few of the original balls and no cues were available when I bought the table. This table originally was in a dorm at the University of Georgia in Athens. Originally this table had a plastic formica like laminate that was orange on white with simulated Walnut on the top rails. This table has seen no play since I finished it. I could, if desired, make a matching poker table top for and additional fee. If you want to have the item shipped buyer would have to arrange. the table weight is approx. 350 Lbs. Thanks for looking
