This is a listing for a pair of sterling silver earrings hand wrought by Navajo silversmith Lena Platero. She is well known for her beautiful hand crafted sterling feather designs. These are vintage and I\'ve never seen another pair of her earrings with this design. The small feather cut into the border of the larger feather creates a tiny hinge within the earrings. It\'s charming, creative and fun.
Hallmarked with her stamp on the back side and stamped sterling. These are long earrings that hang 3.5 inches, including the polished domed ear stud. They weigh 10 grams, so are very comfortable and sturdy.
The feathers are embellished with an elegant center quill overlay and super fine engraving that covers their entire surface. Their profile is hand chiseled, creating a very realistic, beautiful and elegant design. Thank you for looking.
