A beautiful and vintage five-piece tea set from Lenox China in their lovely Woodland pattern.
Tea set consists of a teapot with lid, a sugar bowl with lid, and a creamer, allhand decoratedwith 24-K Gold.
The Woodland pattern was in production for 16 years and features a classic ivory body with sculptured leaves.
The teapot measures approximately 7 inches high with the lid on and 11 1/4 inches wide from handle to spout; the sugar bowl is approximately 3 1/2 inches high with the lid on and 4 inches wide; and the creamer is approximately 3 inches high and 5 inches wide from spout to handle.
All pieces in the set are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
Not the inferior Lenox of today that is made in China, all of the pieces are marked LENOX, Made in U.S.A., on their bottoms. Two of the pieces still have the Hand Decorated with 24-K Gold stickers also attached.
Lenox retired the Woodland pattern in 1999.
A wonderfultea set as well as a great addition to any Lenox collection.
