• I love writing this: there’s no damage.
• The sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring.
• All the finishes are original. The cream paint looks very good, with only small scratches on the ceiling canopy. The socket cups are aluminum, and these have a gold varnish over. Small bits of varnish are missing, and the varnish has aged overall to the point that the socket cups read almost as silver rather than gold.
