Here is a nice Vintage German Cuckoo Clock that is not running or striking (no pendulum or weights) as expected for your buying consideration. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself! Nice project clock for someone here or just use as a decor piece as is now.

Here is a nice wood case Cuckoo Clock here. Appears to have been made by a company named Maak. Not really familiar with that company to provide you with additional information.

We would estimate that this clock dates to the latter 1960s to early 1970s. Nice looking clock face on this clock. Wood case with applied composite numbers and cuckooo clock door. Nice embossed tin on the top and front of the case. The clock hands match and look appropriate to the clock.

Nice brass movement here. The bellows are still intact. The silver colored metal chains for the weights are in place and seem solid. There are no weights or pendulum with this clock, so cannot determine if running or not. The cuckoo bird comes out when the door opens as expected when running manually on the wall. So, selling this Cuckcoo clock in not running and striking condition with the weights and pendulum not with it.

The Cuckoo Clock Case stands 15-9/16\" tall, by 12-5/8\" across, by 4-7/8\" wide. Obviously the clock will be taller with the weights (do not come with this clock) hanging from the cables, so keep that in mind when picking a spot for the clock. The clock face is 6.75\" across. The clock will be partially disassembled to more safely ship it to you. So, expect some reassembly. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.

As can be expectedwhen dealing with an antique clock, some adjustments may be needed aftershipping to get the clock re-running correctly again as they can be verydelicate. If you have not had experience with old mechanical clocksbefore, I would suggest you steer clear. One really needs to have thepatience, and skill to work with these great works of art. They are notour modern plug in and go, or change the battery clocks. Please ask anyquestions relating to this matter, before you decide to purchase it.
