This is a Man\'s Vintage Lorus Mickey Mouse Gold Coin Style Watch, Model V811-1400 which was made for The Walt Disney Company, (made in the early 1990\'s).
The Watch Face is 1\" in Diameter, however this is the actual Man\'s Watch, (The Ladies Watch was introduced about 18 months later and it has a .75\" Diameter.) There several scratches on the crystal, all of which require a magnifying device to be seen. The scratches are at the very end of the crystal near # 2 and #7. Price has been adjusted accordingly.
The Background of the Watch is a very pale shade of Gold, then Mickey Mouse and any of the accents were created using (high Shine) Gold Foil. There are no numbers on the face instead there are 4 stars one at each, 3-6-9 and a slightly larger star at 12. All the other number locations have smaller circles at the locations and the watch has 3 Gold Colored Watch Hands.
The Backing on the original Watch Band was in awful condition so I asked the local jeweler when he was servicing the watch could he replace the original band with a Brand New, Kreisler Brand, 9\" Long Genuine Black Leather Band.The Watch was just serviced at local jewelers, a new battery was added. The Jeweler then held the watch for a 48 hour period and checked on it to ensure the proper functioning of the watch. The Jeweler then replaced the original band and added the Brand New Kreisler Band.
