Very, very nice piece of Matson that is a perfume tray or hanging mirror and is stamped Matson on the back of the handle. The filigree is discolored in a few spots from use and there are some scratch marks on the mirror which is consistent with the age and use of the item. The back is in great shape with very little wear on the velvet and it is not loose nor are there any breaks in the filigree that I can see. There is a hook on one end that can be used to hang it on the wall. It is about 9 1/4" wide and about 16 3/4" long from handle to handle.
