There are no chips, cracks to the glass. Minor smudging/scratches appear at the base of the candles as pictured, but it doesn\'t detract from the overall beauty of these candles! The overall height of the candles including the base is approximately 14.5\". The Farberware bases could use a little cleaning.Wrought Farberware Bklyn NYis written on thebottom of thebases.
