I\'m selling off all of my molds. It\'s just time for someone else to enjoy them. I had a small chalkware business but realize I really won\'t ever have time. I\'m sure someone else could make some wonderful chalkware or paper mache pieces. Or start your own little business.
This mold is stamped 28047. And stampedAnton Reiche Dresden. Mold is very dark. I don\'t know if the previous owner tried to clean it and darkened it or how it became this dark. It\'s also quite pitted with the worst of the pitting being on the back around the rabbit that sticks his head out of the back window.Mold fits together nice and tight. The inside is dark also but smooth and not pitted. There is a little greenish tint to some areas which makes think even more than someone tried to clean this in a way they shouldn\'t have.
Entire mold is 6 inches high by 4 1/2 inches across. Makes a really fun piece of chalkware. I\'ve even made it into a Christmas piece by putting it on a base and covering that in \"snow and glitter\" and stringing tiny faux lights around it and painting it Christmas colors. It really makes a charming piece of chalkware. I made the chalkware using a similar mold that was made of plastic. I didn\'t use this mold for the chalkware.Chalkware is not included but shown so you can see what\'s possible.
