VINTAGE MID CENTURY CHILD\'S LEATHER GREEK OPANKE TSAROUHI SHOES POM POMS:

Vintage Mid Century Leather Greek Opanke Tsarouhi Shoes with red, bluish puple and white pom poms on front. Shoes are very small and were either for a child or toddler measuring only 5 1/2\" in length. The shows are made of both upper and lower leather with even the soles being a soft brown leather. Stitching appears as though it may be a combination of both machine and hand stitching. Toes are upcurled as shown in picture 3 and pom poms were inserted inside leather there and then either tied or stitched closed. This type of shoe is a traditional shoe worn by the Greek Guard as a part of their uniform, leather upturned toe with pom poms. They are in vintage condition as shown in pictures. Please view all pictures and make sure you ask all questions prior to buying.
