This is a beautiful set of Cake plate, Milk Jug and Sugar Bowl in the very pretty and rarely seen Minton \'Lorraine\' pattern c1950\'s.The cake plate measures 22 cms square (25cms handle to handle)
The Milk Jug measures 7 cms H x 14cms W (tip spout to tip handle)
The Sugar Bowl measures 16cms WAll pieces are fluted and scalloped with gold trim to all the external rims and handles and all pieces have the Minton mark and impressions that date them to the 1950\'s so a truly Vintage item.The colourway is a white ground with clusters of flowers around the sides and on the inside rim of the sugar bowl.In terms of condition the set is in very good condition with just a few feint cutlery marks and (very) minor scuffing to the gilt on the sugar bowl all commensurate with age and useage as you might expect. There are no other flaws. The gilt is generally excellent and I suspect the set has been hardly used or perhaps kept as part of a display set.Overall a lovely teatime set in this very pretty pattern. Great for Mintons collectors, Vintage serving or display.
