N353 Prized Chevron beads from the Moretti Studio in Venice; brilliant Royal Blue tones.
The 5 layered Chevron design dates back over 200 years; the hand made beads are difficult and exacting to make. Thousands were sent to Africa to reappear as “African” Trade Beads. Spaced with Royal Blue and White Opal Peking Glass type beads crowned with Venetian style flower Caps. Chevron beads are about 1/2 inch long.
Strung on sturdy nylon wrapped wire, with old fashioned hook clasp, 18 inches long. Comes with attached 3 inch extender chain, so wearable length 18-21 inches.
A lovely understated keepsake treasure to be enjoyed for years.
