Vintage Nantucket lightship basket purse with Oak top and bottom, carved sperm whale ornament, clasp and hinges. Lined in plastic material held by tiny nails, we can\'t see the inside bottom to look for a maker. Can probably use a bit of dusting, not sure how to clean so it\'s left to the next owner to do. Slight overall shifting and a bit of unraveling on the clasp bar holder. Other than that, it is in good shape. The one thing I noticed from looking at other similar baskets is the direction of the whale carving on the top, it is different from most.
