This clay and glass beaded collar type necklace is Native American in origin, and was purchased in the 1970\'s in the American Museum Shop, New York NY, as marked on the enclosed box. I do not have a tribal affiliation for this necklace.When laid out flat, the hand strung necklace measures 8\" across, and the design at each point is 2\" from the center ring of beads. The glass beads add a flower like detail to the round and oblong clay beads. The glass beads are white and orange, orange and black. The necklace closes with a metal latch. This necklace is in excellent condition. A lovely vintage example of a bib or collar necklace.Mine is a smoke free / pet free home. I very much appreciate your looking!
