Nice old handmade hitched horse hair & leather belt features a pretty pattern of diamonds & arrows in red, yellow & blue on a white background. It has a nice heavy buckle with matching loop & tip that, I think, may be a custom design. The belt has snaps on one end, so the buckle & loop can be easily removed & replaced.I can\'t say for sure what the buckle, loop & tip are made of. They are silver in color & we performed an acid test of each piece using JSP Silver Testing Solution & a test stone. All 3 tests resulted in a color change to brown. The manufacturer\'s instruction sheet says, \"0.800 silver will turn brown\", but it notes that a \"brown reading could also mean your item is plated.\" The belt measures about 34\" from end to end (including the buckle & tip) x about 7/8\" wide. It\'s in good used condition overall showing some wear consistent with age & use; a few cracks in the leather, some fraying of the weave on the back side of the belt & some tarnish &/or dirt on the buckle, loop & tip.The belt shown in the photos is the exact belt you will receive.
