We offer for your consideration a 1940s Navajo beauty from the original owner\'s home. She was a photographer and traveled throughout the South West. She kept this wall hanging in close to original condtion. It was displayed on the top of her dresser drawer and shows no age related wear, no issues, no odors, or blemishes. The weave is tight and true with a bright and bold color which did not fade or bleed. Photos 1 -7 are side A. The remaining photos are side B. I noted 8 minor areas with thinning or holes; p,ease check the last photo. The artist made this rug with true craftsmanship, skill, and artistry. The wool is fine and soft to the touch. It almost feels felted, to the touch, you will cherish this small piece of American history; the color will warm you and fill you with the wonder and awe at the thunderbirds woven into the desert scape. Note that the selvedge is totally intact, and the corners are adorned with wool threads to enable an easy hanging to turn this wall hanging into a travel into the past window. This piece measures 24 weft stitches per inch
