CIRCA 1978: ESTATE PIECEI CONSIDER THIS A ONE OF A KIND SPINNER PENDANT BY THE MUCH SOUGHT AFTER NAVAJO SILVERSMITH:T. (TOMMY) MOORENever have I seen a pendant like this one! A true heirloom piece!The pendant is big, bold and BEAUTIFUL and weighs in at 91.6 grams! The oval from the top of the bail to the bottom measures 4 inches and is 2 3/4 inches at the widest point of the oval. There are 20 free-form cabs of the older vintage quality Kingman Turquoise featuring that robin\'s egg blue with black matrix. The stones are saw-tooth bezel set with accents of sterling silver rain drops between the stones. The backside of the center spinner features a pictograph of the hills of Monument Valley which is part of Tommy\'s famous hallmark. The front of the spinner features those fabulous Kingman Turquoise stones!
On the back of the pendant is the T. Moore hallmark. It is not marked sterling but tests as such. There are some very slight condition issues with the scalloped edges; they are not perfectly flat, but have some wee edge curl, probably from the hand stamping. This does not distract from the quality of this unique piece of jewelry at all! The chain is the original hand made one that came with the pendant. It measures 24 inches. Each link is soldered and the total weight is 38.1 grams.
