For your consideration is this wonderful VINTAGE Navajo Sheep fetish. Probably dates to the 1970s-1980s. It is carved from a reddish marble and has turquoise eyes and an offering of turquoise nuggets, turquoise heishi, and assorted glass beads tied around a piece of leather. The Navajo often make their own sheep fetishes, which is part of their tradition.This particular fetish measures 2 1/8\" long, and 5 1/8\" wide, and 1\" high. The \"cracks\" in the stone which are visible in the picture are NATURAL FISSURES in the stone.It is a great collectable piece!I ship to the US only.
