Presented here is an outstanding vintage Navajo sterling silver and turquoise ring. This elaborate ring showcases a great piece of vivid blue turquoise with exceptional golden pyrite matrix (possibly Morenci turquoise?). This stone is set within a finely sawtoothed bezel, and framed with scrolls and one dimensional feather. The ring\'s wide, tapered shank is equally detailed; between hand-stamped raised rims, the center of the shank is embellished with twisted wire and raised scrolls. The top of the ring measures 1 3/8\" long x 15/16\" wide, and is signed indistinctly with a hand-engraved mark on the top\'s underside. The ring\'s shank starts at 3/4\" wide at the top and tapers down to 1/2\" wide at the bottom. This piece, which weighs 19.6 grams, is currently a size 10, and although a skilled jeweler might be able to size it up or down, sizing is not recommended for this ring due to all of the details applied to the shank. However, given the width of the shank, this ring is stable even on fingers a few sizes smaller than the ring\'s actual size.
