Vintage Navajo cuff bracelet by Maisels Trading Post.
I can’t express how remarkable this bracelet is; from the outstanding green Turquoise stone,to the elegant stamping on the beautifully bracelet. c.1930 - 1940\'s.The turquoise stone is just beautiful.I believe it\'s oldCerrillos Turquoise stone.
This beautiful bracelet is from Fred Harvey Era, when Route 66 had been completed and tourists from east were passing through the southwest. The Maisels Trading Post opened in the late 1930\'s on old Route 66 in Albuquerque New Mexico.By the 1940\'s, the trading post had become the largest of its kind on the Route 66 and at one time employed over 300 American Indian artist onsite.
The inside measures approx. 5 1/2\" around with a 1 1/4\" opening at the back.Total size 6 3/4\". Adjustable. Weight - 48 grams.
The bracelet is approx. 1 3/4\" tall.The stone measures approx. 1\" by 3/4\"
