Heart-shaped Metal Wind Up Music Box - Key on inside - Made by Splendid, NY. Although this is a VINTAGE PIECE - Estate sale prior to 2004 - It is NEW and has been kept packed.
Although this piece is not marked, one of the other boxes in the same Lot had a Gold Paper Seal reading \"Splendid for the Finest in Music Boxes New York and is stamped JAPAN on bottom. It does play music when wound - I\'m sorry - I do not know the song - stands on three legs - floral top - ornate gold trim - pink felt lining. Measures 3 1/2\" x 2 1/2\" and weighs 1 lb (without packing).The glue around the top is beginning to age - good age - it wasn\'t made yesterday. This box was in a case of closed boxes containing this and others - an \"old\" case. This is one of the last.
