Very cool old candy mold, is my guess. It looks very Scandinavian to me, but I am not sure. Each square is very intricately and detail carved. They almost look like postage stamps. Each square appears to be a man doing some kind of job. This is really sensational, I wish I knew more about it. Anyone out there know?? This is a heavy nice piece! It measures 7.75\" X 4.5\" it is heavy metal on a wood backing. It weighs over a pound and a half.
