Vintage Auto Meters ~ Combustion & Volt & Tach ~ Bakelite Plastic Cases ~ 1940’s – You are offerding on three old automotive meters that looks to be all from the same era – These cases and maters look like they could be interchanged so if you want one meter and there is another case that is in batter condition it looks like they would be easily interchanged – We have not taken these apart but all of the cases are the same size and the screws are in the same place in the back where they meters mount to the case – All of the glass faces look to be complete and not cracked or chipped - These were discovered in an old timers auto mechanics garage that he had in the back of his home – These meters were all in one cabinet and look to have been sitting there for quite some time – They are still dirty and dusty and needs to be cleaned you will receive them in as we found them condition – We have not tested these meters in any way and are being sold as is – The needles look to be in place on all three meters – Each of the cases bases roughly measure 5¾” x 4¾” - We will quickly review each case for any details and note them below along with any initial condition issues we see – Good luck with your offerding J

COMBUSTION METER

· Combustion Efficiency – Model 5AS 734-3

· Range from 100 to 60 – Set to Line 80

· Lean to Rich & Air Fuel Ratio 15 to 10 & Lean to Rich Idle

· On the back it is marked 678 24 Oct 15 1948

CONDITION: The case has crack on the front top right of the case which travels along that corner where there is a small chip in that corners mount – There is also a corner that has a broken chipped mount – There is a little paint splatter

VOLT METER

· Battery Voltage – Model 5AS 515

· Range from 0 to 10 – Minimum Operating Voltage Red Line Mark @ 5.6

· The gauge is marked on in .2 segments {Ex: 1.0 1.2 1.4 1.6 1.8 2.0 etc.}

· On the back there are no numbers

CONDITION: This case is in overall very nice condition with signs of wear and a few nicks and some light paint splatter

TACH METER

· Distributor R.P.M. – Model 734-6

· Range from 0 to 2000 – Battery Check indicated at mark just below 2000

· The gauge has a 0 500 1000 1500 2000 marked level

· On the back there are numbers 678 32 134

CONDITION: This case is in overall very nice condition with signs of wear but it is heavily splattered with paint with some work should be able to be all cleaned away
