Vintage Old Electro Surgical Instrument Paddle Set Quack Medical or Real ?

Early 1900\'s or there abouts. Devices look good. Case has surface rubs.

I have no idea what these instruments were used for. The handle end of these has a small hole that appears to have been for inserting possibly a wire then screwing down the end knob to clamp in in. There is also a small odd lens that I do not know what it was used for.
