For your consideration is this magnificent high quality handcrafted sterling silver and turquoise squash blossom necklace, circa 1960s or 70s era.

This gorgeous squash blossom necklace features ten blossoms and a large naja handcrafted from heavy gauge sterling silver and set with a hand cut nugget of top grade Kingman turquoise in a unique shadowbox style. The blossoms are accented with exquisite hand tooled sterling leaves and handmade sterling drops. The tails are further enhanced with turquoise and coral chip inlay designs. The naja features a three band style with the center band as twisted sterling rope. Four sterling silver turquoise blossoms provide a fabulous focal point. These were then hand strung on two rows of sterling silver bench beads that tapers to a single strand.

The blossoms measure approx 1\" x 1 3/4\", the naja measures about 3\" x 3 1/2\" and the necklace is about 27\" long end to end. Closes with hook-eye clasp. There is a light old pawn patina that has not been cleaned. The naja is stamped with what looks like the letters JC and a hallmark, but we were unable to attribute this to any known artisan. Guaranteed to be Native American made. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
