45 needlepointturquoisegemstones make up this stunning hand-craftedturquoise necklace.

The 45 hand-cut gemstoneswere hand finished andare displayed in 3 separate 1 3/8\" sections with a

sterling silver hook & eye closure. End-to-end length is 17 3/8 inches.

26 hand-crafted, sterling silver oblong chain links connect the needlepoint sections.

Finely craftedby an unknown Native American silversmith, probably aOld Pawn piece.

Thisneedlepointdesign is consistent with pieces that are created by Zuni artisans.

It is not uncommon forOld Pawn pieces to beunsigned. I do not have any provenancefor this necklace.

This needlepoint necklace is in exceptional as-found condition.

Turquoise is known as the Sky Stone by the Native American Indian Tribes in the Southwest.

The Navajo and Zuni Indian Tribes are masters at creating beautiful jewelry using natural turquoise.

They are expert silversmiths and use sterling silver to enhance the beauty of this blue gemstone.

In Arizona and the Great Southwest of the United States, no other natural stone is

held in higher esteem then this unique, gemstone.

The necklace has not beencleaned or polished but has been wiped off with a
