This sale is for a beautifullyorientalDamascene Japanese cigarette case from theMeiji period1868-1912. This cigarette case is in fantastic antique collectors condition. This piece coulkd well be gold but is not marked as such so is sold as a gold coloured metal. Internal blue cigarette clip on strapsare marked \'REGAL\'. The case has a nice vintage patina that really sets it off with only age related surface wear mark. The piece depicts a village scene with mount Fuji in the background which is in a gold metal coloured inlay. Very light denting on the front. The catch to open the case functions well and opens and closes without any issue. The back features two golden coloured butterflies and makers signature (see photos)
