This is a very special offering. It is a vintage Original Erzebirge music box made in the German Democratic Republic, hence prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall. It was used as a shop display for years and so shows signs of wear: a few small color dings, the blue angel on the top is missing half of her foot that is not visible from the front. The most important missing piece is the angel who sits on a bench playing the organ. The music box still works and plays the German hymn \"O how Joyfully, O how Blessedly\". The piece is 5.5\" x 4\" x 2\". Sold in US by Kurt Adler.
