Pair Of Tall Brass Vases Both Marked India
The thinner one measures 13 3/8\" tall X 1 7/8\" at the base and 2 1/4\" wide at the handle.
It tapers in then back out. The intricate detailed floral designs engraved in the brass have areas
of red and some black. It\'s in quite nice shape for it\'s age with one bent area at the base.
(can be seen in our 9th photo) The underneath is marked \"Harilela\'s India 574 12.\"
This vase is quality made and weighs 1 pound 0.9 ounces alone.The thicker shorter vase measures 11 1/4\" tall X 3 1/4\" at the belly. It is marked
\"INDIA 1237/F 12\". It also has an intricately detailed botanical design throughout
the vase. This vase is heavier weighing 1 pound 5.2 ounces. Quality made!
We like the way they both have the diagonal off set pouring lip.
Also great for watering house plants!Together they make an elegant grouping pair. Nice aged patina, some small areas of corrosion, both pieces have bent bases.
