This listing is for a pair of salvaged church altar pedestal stands. I am told they sat on either end of an altar in a church here in Rhode island and were used to display floral arrangements during services. They could be used either way but the first photo is how they were used in the church. I took a photo of them with the lamp on my buffet so you can get a feel for the scale of them. They are approx. 16 inches tall and the round top is 7 3/8 inches in diameter. The fluted bottom is 7 3/4 in diameter. One of them the round top separates from the base, the other does not. These are old and sturdy and together they weigh about 15 pounds. There is no major damage to them but there is wear and some minor chips to the wood. Very cool pieces. (I would like to sell them together as they went through history together, I know kind of sappy but if you are interested in just one of them email me and I can amend the listing and the price would be half or 87.50 and I would adjust the shipping as well.)
