This is a 17\" X 11\" Poster that was printed in 1982 to promote the Soho Weekly News edition, and is in regards to John Belushi\'s recent and untimely death. The author of the poster is Marcia Resnick ( ). My father worked for the Soho Weekly News (after many years at the Village Voice), and he would affix these to news stands and lamp posts throughout Manhattan. He set this one aside, and except for a bit of yellowing of the paper, and tiny crease on the upper right hand corner...this is almost mint. Please see all pics of this under magnification. It\'s quite a haunting picture, taken by one of Greenwich Villages Premier 1970\'s and 1980\'s scene photographer. (it only seemed right :) :) )My dad was a writer with the Village Voice for 22 years, the last picture is him with colleagues in 1968 in front of Sheridan Square park, where The Village Voice HQ was located (now a Karaoke bar).He wrote the automobile column \"Hubcaps\", which later became \"The Brakes\". From 1977 to the mid 1980\'s he was the circulation manager of the Soho Weekly. The apartment building where I still live, and all his stuff is stored, can be seen behind these Village Voice freelance writers. Most of the items you\'ll see in my listing are either items he picked up through cultural events he participated in as a free-lance Village Voice writer, cinematic collectibles he accumulated as a Screen Actors Guild member, or his deep involvement with antique automobiles. Lot\'s of car shows, art galleries, and movie shoots.
