This is an unusual rectangular vintage powdercompact. It is in matte and high glossgold tone stripes. It is about 3.25” x2.25”. It is well used and has somefinish issues on the bottom and one side.There is remaining powder and a used puff. The pouch is soiled from general use. There is no manufacturer’s name but theunusual catch is by W.E. Wacker, which was patented in 1931. To open, you push down on the catch and thefront moves outward to release the top.
