A handmade, primitive 26-32\" tall adjustable stand or pedestal in medium color wood original finish. Looks like teak or mahogany. 

Invention prototype, shop project, or art piece? You can decide. 

Signed by brass plaque \"John A Coe\". 

Looks to be at least 50 years old if not more. All wood joinery except for screws under top and base. 

Top is a little wobbly but that\'s what you get with this kind of inventiveness.   

Top measures 9\" x 11-1/2\" and base measures 8-1/2\" x 11\". A thin piece of the wood is chipped off the top edge trim (see photo)

Overall shows fantastic age and patina. 

A piece that can fit into a variety of decors, modern to vintage to eclectic.
