The gold tone compact with the face and marked \"ALASKA\" is a vintage Newport Make Up brand. It\'s in good shape and closes snugly. It measures about 3\" across not counting the hinge or the clasp. It does show some wear in the form of lite scratches and a nick.
BONUS: As a bonus you also get a very old compact of which I don\'t know the brand name. There is a letter on the back and \"made in u.s.a.\" I\'m not sure what the letter is. As you can see from the pics, the mirror is broken and mostly gone and there\'s some corrosion into the paint on the exterior. It measures 2-3/4\" across.
