VINTAGE PUNCH BOARD - (SONDHEIM):

I have had this punch board since the 1970\'s. The item is listed as new because it has not been punched out.By the look of it I assume it was used in the 1930\'s, just a guess as I\'m not an expert on punch boards. The holes are all intact. The puncher is in its spot as I can hear it rattle.
There is a small pin hole on the front side third hole from the top far left column, don\'t know if viewable in photo. On the back there are a few disturbed holes but not punched thru should be viewable in photo. The item shows normal wear around edges after all it is old and it was hung on a wall. There is a hanger attached to the back for display on a wall.The board is approximately 9 x 9 inches square.
As to Stephen Sondheim. There was an item in the newspaper showing him with his collection of punch boards. I can\'t remember when I saw the item in the paper but it was after I already had the board. The picture shows the same board just to the left of Mr. Sondheim. The clipping is included as an item of interest only. There were many on these boards made and so it is stated that:
THIS BOARD HAS NO PERSONAL ATTACHMENT TO MR SONDHEIM AND WAS NEVER HIS.
