Antique RARE and extremely difficult to find!! This is a boy/girl (gender neutral) summer camp or scout or play uniform in a medium olive khaki color cotton. Weight is medium and not thin nor heavy. It is not lined. This is a very early piece dating from the early 1900\'s (per the sailor collar and knickers styled pants). It has a removable (via pin) black gross grain bow. It has been VERY well cared for and is in remarkable condition for it\'s age. It only has a small spot on front left (see photo) Has original buttons/thread on buttons. This appears to be a very early uniform made by the children\'s clothing manufacturer Slipova. It is labeled. Waist has been taken in a bit with thread. No rips, holes, thin spots or other signs of wear other than the spot noted. Embroidered canoe and oars on breast pocket and colors are still bright. This has been in my family since new but no one can remember the exact story of how it came to be a family heirloom. This was passed on to me and I have had it for the past thirty five years. I recall it was passed to my Grandmother who passed on to my Mother and then to me. We all stored this in our cedar chests for safekeeping. The condition is remarkable for the vintage!! It has been folded for decades and I have not ironed it nor done anything to it for the photos. It should really be displayed or go to someone who appreciates this type of early camp/scout/children\'s fashions from early 1900\'s Americana. Measures: Top: 15\" pit to pit when flat, 14 1/2\" from shoulder to hem, pants: 16\" prior to being \"taken in/altered\" and from waist to hem17 1/2\". This is as smaller size and perhaps for a child between 5 and 8 but I cannot be exactly sure. I ship same or next day. I am a very experienced seller. offer with confidence.
