This is a very rareImhof Globetime piece with rotating globe and brass chapter ring.

The brass figure spear points to the time on the chapter ring as the globe turns.

This is all set on a brass barrel where the time piece is located.

Picture 7 shows one AA battery next to the clock to give and idea to it\'s size. Note this is not battery run.

I am 100% certain that this is a Imhof time piece but am not prepared to indulge in opening it all up as it all looks rather complicated to me.

If anyone can state otherwise then please get in touch.

All material is brass and wood.

This is in stunning condition with just a small amount of corrosion from age to the middle brass section which will polish out.

To wind the time piece you just turn the globe to the right continuous.

Again a rare but fun time piece that dates at a guess to the 60/70s.

I have never see one in this model.
