This unit is in excellent condition for nearly 65 years old. We recently acquired a large quantity of vintage audio equipment, this unit was with the lot. It was stored indoors for about 30 years. The unit does need a bit of maintenance as expected. We aren\'t getting any sound out of the turntable, we have confirmed it is not the tube amplifier because we can play through the auxiliary port and it sounds excellent. It most likely needs a new cartridge/needle as it is probably original. The auto play feature works intermittently, it is a bit gummed up from years of storage. The grease used in these hardens over the years. This unit should be stripped down and new grease should be applied for optimal play. No other issues were noted with our testing. This unit appears to be 100% original with the original tubes, no aftermarket parts were noted by our technician. We would refurbish this unit ourselves but we have about 45 record players to go through and we do not have the time. Shipping is fast and secure, we will get you this item quickly and safely.
