Offered today is a fantastic vintage Zuni find! It is a necklace/pendant which doubles as a brooch and is by famed Zuni Artisans Ronnie & Olivia Calabaza. Their work is highly coveted and collected! The hallmark on the back of this piece is ROC Zuni NM. Olivia Panteah and Ronnie Calabaza were married and worked together, using the hallmark ROC, ZUNI during the years 1978-1986. This wonderful work of art has an inlaid Kachina, Bull or Cow(?) atop a smooth oval Tortoise Shell. It is set in the middle of sterling frame with stamp work and an outer row of inlay stones. The stones in the pendant/brooch are Turquoise, Coral, Jet, Mother of Pearl and Tortoise Shell. The pendant measures 3 1/4\" by 1 1/2\" and hangs on a sterling paper clip chain, 24\" long. The entire piece with chain weighs 28.4 grams and is in excellent condition. A hard to find piece by famed Zuni Artists!

This necklace came from a fabulous estate of a 93 year old collector. She and her husband traveled for years and years to Arizona and she would purchase wonderful pieces while her husband golfed!
