Here we have an Early Version \'Hercules\' Sargent #409 Plane in very good all original condition.14\" long by 2 1/2\" wide. The number 1409 is imprinted on one part and # 409 on another part.The word \'Hercules\' made in USA is imprinted on the cutter. It does not say \'Sargent\' anywhere on this plane. It cuts very well and is a pleasure to use. It has some black paint missing on the toe as shown in my photo\'s. otherwise it\'s very clean with no rust or pitting.
