Visit My store: ekmadonnahere is a vintage solid brass 1 pound 6 ounce heavily detailed sea serpent door knocker, has really nice detail and natural aged patina. the back round spot on belly has nice wear from use. there is a newer aftermarket threaded screw that was added to replace the old one for securing into a door. there is no bottom strike plate. fish measures 4 1/4\" long x 3 1/8\" across fins, 5\" measured from the back plate, square hinged back plate is 1 3/4\" x 7/8\". found at an estate in upstate Vermont in a box with a 1920\'s early wood and iron pasta maker. please view all pics.
